Kakobuy glossary: QC, GL and RL against the words Kakobuy actually uses
Type a term from a Discord channel or a Reddit thread. The checker returns what posters mean, what the official pages say, and whether that gap matters for your order.
Word check: community jargon in, official wording out
Twenty-two terms are loaded, chosen because they come up when beginners ask for help and because the answer changes what you should do. The checker runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The four stamps used across these notes

Official means the idea is written on Kakobuy’s own pages, even if the community adopted it first. W2C is the surprise here: the bonus-point article names a “Share W2C” button.
Convention means a community habit with no official text behind it. GL and RL are conventions. They are useful, but no one at Kakobuy is bound by a vote.
Conflict means the two sides describe the same thing differently, and acting on the community version can cost you. QC is the biggest one, legit checks the most serious.
Official word marks Kakobuy terms the community rarely says, such as “Stocked in” or “Personalized photograph”. Learn these; they are the words support responds to.
The full list: QC, GL and RL first, then everything else
The same twenty-two terms in one table, for reading rather than looking up. Community meanings are in the checker above; this table keeps only the official side and the stamp.
| Term | Stamp | What Kakobuy’s pages say |
|---|---|---|
| QC | Conflict | Inspection of appearance, model, style and size only. Garments, bags, suitcases and shoes are opened; sealed packs are not. Electronics get no authenticity, function or quality check (help 89). The user centre labels the photos “QC Picture”. |
| GL | Convention | No such action exists. You add stored items to a parcel and submit a waybill. |
| RL | Convention | A return or exchange request under the 5-Day Return/Exchange Guarantee: within 120 hours of “Stocked in”, a seller’s service Kakobuy relays, with listed exclusions and fees (help 51). |
| Batch | Convention | The word does not appear in the help centre. Kakobuy buys the listing and specification you submit and publishes no grades. |
| Haul | Convention | Operationally it is a parcel. The word appears once officially, as a suggested hashtag in the bonus-point article (help 124). |
| W2C | Official | Adopted officially: the completed-parcel list has a “Share W2C” function, and shared links carry the sharer’s commission code (help 124). |
| Rehearsal | Official | An official paid service: the user centre has a Rehearsal section and a “Rehearsal Packing” button; the help centre calls it Pre-packaged, CNY 18 a time, done within 24 hours (help 117). |
| In-hand | Convention | No official term. Kakobuy’s own photos are taken in the warehouse, before shipping. |
| Legit check | Conflict | Inspection does not cover authenticity. The anti-counterfeiting policy makes the buyer responsible for buying only authentic products and lets Kakobuy refuse orders, withhold funds or dispose of goods (help 125). |
| Seller | Convention | Kakobuy treats every shop the same and relays sellers’ terms. It suggests checking credit, sales and reviews; it keeps no trusted list. |
| Spreadsheet | Convention | No official term. Kakobuy never sees the site you found a link on, only the link. |
| Seized | Official word | Official wording is customs inspection, customs hold and detention. Kako Insurance has a Customs Hold component; without insurance, Kakobuy is not responsible for losses in third-party transport. |
| Declare low | Conflict | Kakobuy declares “based on the actual value of the goods” and the route’s rules; you may add a note on the declared value if you know your local rules, but tax, fines or returns are yours to bear (help 27). Route guidance in help 107 says some lines must be declared truthfully. |
| Extra photos | Official word | The official name is Personalized photograph: CNY 2 per piece, delivered within 24 hours (help 114). |
| Stocked in | Official word | The status that starts two clocks: the 120-hour return window and the 100-day free storage period. |
| Shortfall | Official word | A shortfall payment: the seller changed the price (help 83), or the seller’s domestic delivery cost more than was paid (help 75). |
| Fill and Buy | Official word | The manual order form for links the search bar cannot read. Kakobuy cannot verify these listings and offers no after-sales on them. |
| Tags | Official | The waybill form has Remove Tag and Remove Packaging switches. Items with removed tags are excluded from the 5-day return guarantee (help 51). |
| Coupon | Official | Coupons are official and dated; each has a minimum spend and an expiry (the October 2026 pack runs to 31 October). |
| Ref link | Official | The Promotion Alliance issues each member an “exclusive offline” link and QR code; users who register through it are bound to the referrer (help 124). Sign-up has an optional invitation code field. |
| Storage | Official | 100 days free for normal packages from “in storage”, a reminder email at day 90; abnormal packages 60 days. Extension costs CNY 10 per order per 30 days (help 1 and 120). |
| Discord | Official | An official server, promoted on the login and home pages; the contact page invites feedback there. Its own description is about promotions and discussion. |
If a term you need is missing, the help centre search is the next stop. Search it with the official word from this table, not the community one; the help centre only indexes its own language.
Official Kakobuy words worth learning before your first ticket

Five official terms do most of the work when something goes wrong:
- Stocked in: the warehouse status that starts the 120-hour return window and the free storage clock.
- Inspection: what the community calls QC, with the narrower scope of help 89.
- Personalized photograph: the paid extra photo, CNY 2 per piece within 24 hours.
- Rehearsal: the pre-pack that shows real parcel weight before you pay freight.
- Shortfall: the extra payment requested when a seller’s price or delivery changed.
Using precise terms helps support understand the request. State the Stocked in date, the visible mismatch and whether you want a return or exchange. A message saying only “it is an RL” omits the evidence and requested outcome.
Translate the decision, not just the acronym
When someone says RL, separate the observation from the proposed action: wrong colour, visible damage, uncertain measurement, or a preference. Then choose the relevant next step: request a photo, ask for an exchange, seek return terms, or keep the item. This makes the request useful to the purchaser even if they have never seen the thread.
